About Us
Please note, The Scots Reviewer will now not be taking part in coverage for this year's Festivals/ Edinburgh Fringe but we will be back for 2027.
Led by our Editor, Callum Stott, we cover Scottish theatre and the arts, as well as further afield to inform you about some of the best in live experiences.
We have been reviewing since 2016 and have continued to strive to be a prominent voice in theatre criticism in Scotland. We cover a range of festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe, carrying out reviews and interviews. Tickets and experiences offered to us by productions/ entertainment venues are for the intent of reviewing and criticism. We review fairly and honestly.
If you would like to reach out to us about your upcoming production, you can do by dropping us a message in the 'Contact Us' section.
Thanks,
Callum.
Editor of The Scots Reviewer.

So why did we take a break?
Like all good things, sometimes you think - this has been fun, but now is the time to step away from it for a bit and refresh and rethink.
Callum, our editor, moved to Australia for a while too to travel and grow, and this put The Scots Reviewer on a rest for a period.
However, we do plan to relaunch again in 2027 with Festivals and other content.
In current times. the need for connection and the arts couldn't be greater. Thanks for sticking with us and we are excited to continue to cover a range of the best shows, and have conversations with some of theatres most exciting collaborators and individuals.
